CORRECTION: Orphan polar bear heads to US

June 24, 2011: A headline on the MSN homepage incorrectly stated that an orphaned polar bear was being sent to a Louisville zoo from outside the United States. The polar bear was already in the United States and being sent from Alaska, as the article correctly reported.

A gossip item about Christina Aguilera incorrectly stated that she was nominated for a worst actress Razzie Award for “Burlesque.” Aguilera appeared on the nominations ballot but was not actually nominated.

In MSN Entertainment’s Miss Golden Globe photo gallery, a woman in one of the images was incorrectly identified as Gigi Garner, daughter of James Garner and former Miss Golden Globe. The image has since been removed from the gallery.

Feb. 15, 2011: A headline yesterday on the MSN Money homepage originally stated that the Obama administration had presented a $3.7 billion budget to Congress. The correct figure was $3.7 trillion.

CORRECTION: Top 10 Indoor Water Parks

Jan. 27, 2011: In the Budget Travel article “Top 10 Indoor Water Parks,” an incorrect geographic region for Schlitterbahn water parks was given. The geographic region should have read: “Schlitterbahn, a family-owned operation with four parks in the United States, invented the lazy river. The concept is so popular that it’s now practically a requirement at any water park.”
